The stories and characters of greek mythology are uniquely vivid and pervading in the modern world. Dara is inspired by the enduring relationship between myth, art and literature. A combination of etching techniques, dry-point, aquatint and chine-collé are used to create tableaus, often drawing inspiration from classical paintings.
